The physicians of Wichita Radiological Group operate and help sponsor the radiology residency program in conjunction with the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita. The fully accredited 4-year diagnostic radiology training program is based at Wesley Medical Center, a 650-bed, tertiary care, level 1 trauma center in Wichita. Additional rotations are completed at Cypress Women’s Imaging Center and the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center.
This residency has produced many graduates that stay within Kansas and serve many hospitals and clinics throughout the state that otherwise would be unable to recruit a radiologist to their facilities.
